Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Wednesday said that Dr B R Ambedkar's residence in Mumbai will be preserved as a heritage structure. "Ambedkar is the pride of the country, and the house where he lived is a historical treasure," he said. The ground-plus-three-storey house is located in central Mumbai's Dadar. It also houses a museum.
