DR Congo launches 180-day Ebola response plan, seeks $1.3 bn
DR Congo has launched an updated 180-day plan to intensify efforts against the Ebola outbreak, seeking $1.3 billion in funding. The outbreak has spread across 60 health zones in six provinces, with 6,342 cases and 3,072 deaths reported by September 2, raising concerns over delayed detection and community deaths. WHO and Africa CDC are supporting the plan.
