Condoling the demise of former PM Dr Manmohan Singh, Congress leader Sonia Gandhi said Dr Singh's commitment to social justice, secularism, and democratic values was deep and unwavering. "He was my friend, philosopher and guide. He was so gentle in his manner but so resolute in his deeply held convictions," Sonia added. Dr Singh passed away on Thursday aged 92.
