India's year-on-year inflation rate based on the All India Consumer Price Index (CPI) for March 2025 over March 2024 stood at 3.34%, the government said on Tuesday. There is a decline of 27 basis points in the headline inflation of March 2025 in comparison to February 2025. It is the lowest year-on-year inflation after August 2019, the government added.

The chargesheet in Saif Ali Khan stabbing case has revealed that the fingerprint samples collected from inside his Mumbai flat did not match with that of the accused Shariful Islam. A 46-year-old air hostess who was on ventilator support at a private hospital's ICU in Gurugram claimed she was sexually assaulted by an unidentified hospital employee on April 6. She'd gotten admitted as she fell ill after swimming in a pool of a hotel she was staying in. She told her husband about the assault after being discharged on Sunday.
