Kannada actress Ranya Rao has been sent a notice by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) to pay a fine of ₹102.55 crore. The senior IPS officer's stepdaughter had been jailed after she was caught smuggling about 15 kg of gold at Bengaluru airport. "If the fine is not paid, the property can be confiscated," the DRI stated.
