Drug kingpin Navpreet Singh deported from Türkiye, Amit Shah calls it 'historic milestone'

Home Minister Amit Shah said alleged narco-trafficking kingpin Navpreet Singh has been deported from Türkiye to India. Calling it a "historic milestone", Shah said Singh had obtained Turkish citizenship under a fake identity and continued smuggling heroin and methamphetamine from Afghanistan to India. "Modi govt is committed to destroying every narco-cartel before Dec 2029," Shah wrote on X.
