Drug lord Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman paid a bribe of $100 million to ex-Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto, a trial witness testified. Alex Cifuentes Villa, an ex-'El Chapo' associate, said Nieto asked for $250 million in exchange for calling off a manhunt for 'El Chapo', but later settled for $100 million. 'El Chapo' faces drug trafficking charges in the US.
