Anantnag Police in Jammu and Kashmir demolished an illegally acquired property worth ₹1 crore belonging to alleged drug peddler Sajad Rather. The action was part of an intensified campaign against narcotics trafficking and aimed at dismantling the financial networks of drug peddlers in the district. The officials said the property was acquired through proceeds from drug-related activities.
