A bride called off her wedding in Uttar Pradesh's Mailani area after the groom broke into 'naagin dance' under the influence of alcohol following garland exchange. He allegedly slapped her when she refused to marry him. Police were called but the families decided not to lodge a complaint after the groom's side agreed to return the gifts and bear expenses.
