Delhi CM Rekha Gupta tabled CAG report on Delhi Transport Corporation in Assembly, highlighting operational inefficiencies and financial losses. DTC liabilities rose from ₹28,263 crore in 2015-16 to ₹65,274 crore in 2021-22, as it incurred operational losses of over ₹14,000 crore during the same period, HT reported citing the report. In 2015-2023, DTC's bus fleet was reduced to 3,937 buses.
