The Central Information Commission has slapped a fine of ₹25,000 on Delhi University’s Central Public Information Officer, Meenakshi Sahay, for rejecting an RTI application over Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s graduation degree. The RTI query was rejected on the ground that the postal order was not marked in favour of the university's registrar.
