Delhi University is yet to get ₹272 crore under the Nirbhaya Fund that the Centre promised 2 years ago, as the funds have not been released, The Tribune reported. The money was approved for the construction of two hostels of 500 accommodations each for working women and girls. The fund also included ₹72 crore for the installation of CCTV cameras.
