Dubai International Airport on Tuesday said it will close one of its two runways for extensive refurbishment work for 45 days starting May 9. The airport added that the northern runway will be shut to upgrade the airfield to ensure safe and efficient operations. The operator added some services will be moved to Al Maktoum International during the closure.
