A 65-year-old businessman from Dubai, who wanted to buy a footwear showroom in Bengaluru, has allegedly been cheated of ₹2 crore. The man was convinced by four people to buy the showroom, which they said would generate ₹4 lakh rent per month. He and his wife then transferred funds. However, the victim later discovered that the documents provided were forged.
