Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai's deputy ruler and UAE's long-serving Finance Minister, has died aged 75. Sheikh Hamdan, who was the brother of the current ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, had been unwell for several months. Sheikh Hamdan has held the position of Finance Minister since the UAE formed its first Cabinet in 1971.
