Dubare Elephant Camp in Kodagu has been ordered shut for two days after a tourist from Chennai died during a violent clash between two elephants. The Forest Department has suspended all tourist entry and boating services following the incident. The tusker, Marthanda, who suffered serious injuries in the fight, has also died. Meanwhile, authorities are investigating potential mahout negligence.
