Responding to UK government's request for help combat coronavirus, air-purifier maker Dyson has offered to make a new type of medical ventilator for the NHS. Besides this, a consortium called Ventilator Challenge UK, led by Airbus, is planning to scale up production of existing ventilator models. Both the options are under consideration and are pending government's approval.
