An earthquake of magnitude 6.0 with a depth of 588 kilometres hit Argentina at 12:50 pm (IST) on Saturday, the National Center for Seismology (NCS) reported. No casualties or material damage have been reported. Earlier, on July 17, a magnitude 6.3 earthquake also struck Argentina. Further details are yet to be released.
