US-based e-commerce major eBay has incurred a loss of $61 million after investing about $133 million in 2014 in Snapdeal's parent company Jasper Infotech, according to filings. eBay said that it had started selling the portion of its equity interest in Snapdeal since 2016. Further, filings also revealed that eBay gained $167 million by selling its India business to Flipkart.
