EC bans Azam from campaigning for 72 hrs over khaki underwear remark

The Election Commission of India on Monday banned Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Azam Khan from campaigning for 72 hours over his 'khaki underwear' remark on BJP's Jaya Prada. Meanwhile, BJP leader Maneka Gandhi has also been banned from campaigning for 48 hours over her communal remarks. The ban for both the leaders will come into force at 10 am tomorrow.
