Election Commission has dismissed TMC's allegations that ballot boxes were being opened by BJP ahead of counting on May 4. "Strong rooms containing polled EVMs are safely secured and sealed," said EC, adding, "⁠There is another strong room in same premises for Postal ballot...Segregation of ballots was taking place in corridor." All political parties were informed by mail, EC said.
