England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) chief Richard Gould has revealed that ODI tri-series events are being planned for the next 12 to 18 months. This comes shortly after India ODI captain Shubman Gill called for the revival of triangular and quadrangular tournaments to keep 50-over cricket relevant. Gill had also rejected proposals to reduce ODIs to 40 overs.
