The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Monday announced by-elections for six seats, including three Assembly constituencies in Bihar, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, and three Rajya Sabha seats from West Bengal. Polling for the assembly seats will be held on July 30. Bihar's Bankipur seat fell vacant after BJP's Nitin Nabin became the party's national president.
