The office of West Bengal's Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) has rejected media reports that ECI has banned polling agents of different political parties from sitting inside polling booths on the election days in the state. "The ECI didn't issue any such kind of new guideline," the office said. ECI allows one agent per candidate inside the booth at a time.
