The Election Commission of India said it successfully implemented several new initiatives, launched over the past four months, during the recently held bypolls in five Assembly seats across four states. These included a mobile deposit facility for voters at polling stations, 100% webcasting of polling stations, and an upgraded voter turnout sharing process. Results will be declared on June 23.
