Economist Sylvain Bersinger warned the Middle East conflict could trigger a third global oil shock, echoing crises in 1973 and 1979. With shipping disrupted through the Strait of Hormuz and energy prices surging, he said oil could climb to about $110 per barrel, raising risks of higher inflation and slower global growth if the war drags on.
