ED and Income Tax department could join Assam Police in investigating singer Zubeen Garg's death case, reports stated. The central probe agencies will probe the alleged organised financial crimes and acquisition of benami properties by Shyamkanu Mahanta, Northeast India festival organiser in Singapore, where Garg died. Mahanta reportedly also committed financial irregularities over 20 years ago.
