ED arrests suspended KPSC chairman, member over irregularities in recruitment process

The ED arrested suspended KPSC chairman Shivashankarappa Sahukar and member BV Geetha in connection with its money laundering probe into the recruitment of veterinary officers. Sahukar was arrested after fresh raids at his Bengaluru flat. The Karnataka government suspended Sahukar on August 25 over allegations that he illegally recruited his daughter for a state government job through the KPSC.
