The Enforcement Directorate conducted searches at multiple engineering colleges in Karnataka on Wednesday in connection with an alleged seat-blocking scam. The scam involved blocking seats in private colleges to sell them later at a premium and not allowing deserving candidates fair admission opportunities. BMS college, AIET, and New Horizon College are among those accused of scam, officials said.
