Edinburgh’s St Giles’ Cathedral introduces tourist entry fee

Built nearly 900 years ago in 1124, St Giles’ Cathedral is a historic church with a unique crown-shaped roof in Edinburgh, Scotland. For the first time in its 900-year history, the church has now announced an entry fee for non-Scottish tourists. General admission is set at £12 (nearly ₹1,535). Scottish people still get free admission to the church.
