Education technology startup Byju's has raised ₹195 crore ($30 million) from Brussels-based family firm Verlinvest at a valuation of about $600 million. In September 2016, Byju's raised $50 million in a round led by Facebook Co-founder Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan's Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. Founded by Byju Raveendran in 2011, Byju's has so far raised nearly $200 million.
