Edtech startup Doubtnut has laid off around 40% employees in the past year, Entrackr reported. Doubtnut didn’t conduct any layoffs in the past two quarters but rationalised the workforce around sales, academic and marketing verticals before October 2022, Co-founder Tanushree Nagori said. It has reduced its monthly burn by over 80% to ₹2.2 crore in March 2023, Nagori added.
