Eggs thrown at ex-TMC MLA Nirmal Ghosh day after arrest in RG Kar case

Former TMC MLA Nirmal Ghosh was attacked by a mob outside Khardah Police Station in West Bengal's North 24 Parganas district on Friday. Despite heavy police and Rapid Action Force presence, protesters hurled footwear, eggs and muck at Ghosh. This comes a day after he was arrested in connection with alleged hurried cremation of the RG Kar Hospital rape-murder victim.
