Egypt to impose ₹38,000 fine on those harassing tourists

The Egyptian Parliament has approved a law allowing authorities to impose a fine of nearly ₹38,000 on those found to be harassing tourists. Anyone found harassing tourists "with the intention of begging or promoting, offering or selling a good or service" would be fined under the law. Egypt's tourism industry is estimated to account for 12% of the economy.
