An eighth Amazon employee has died of COVID-19 in Ohio, US. The news comes as the company faces calls to be more transparent about the total number of infections among its warehouse workers. The female employee last went to work the same day she was diagnosed on April 30, but the company wasn't informed until May 8, a spokesperson said.
