Physicist Albert Einstein kept a picture of English scientist Michael Faraday on his study wall, alongside pictures of Isaac Newton and James Clerk Maxwell. Faraday, who is considered one of the greatest scientists, established the idea of the electromagnetic field and discovered electromagnetic induction and the laws of electrolysis. Faraday was born 225 years ago on 22 September, 1791.
