Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde condoled the death of his fellow Deputy CM Ajit Pawar. "It's a black day for Maharashtra...He was strict on the outside, but very soft at heart," he said. Pawar served as deputy during Shinde's term as CM before becoming Fadnavis' deputy. "He contributed majorly to Ladki Bahin Yojana during my term as CM," Shinde said.
