Ektaa Kapoor calls out 'Hinduphobia' in Bollywood, says 'I was called 'freak' for wearing tika'

Producer Ektaa Kapoor called out "deep-rooted Hinduphobia" in Bollywood, adding she made 'The Vvaan' to create awareness about Hindu folklore and mythology. Recalling her experience, Ektaa said she was judged for wearing tika and dhaaga, adding people in industry used to call her "freak". "I can't even tell you...Wearing your religion on your sleeve is such a problem," she recalled.
