El Paso airport briefly shut after Mexican cartel drones breach US airspace

Texas’ El Paso International Airport, which borders Mexico, was briefly shut down for “special security reasons” after suspected Mexican cartel drones breached US airspace, Reuters reported. Pentagon reportedly disabled the incoming drones. Federal Aviation Administration has since lifted flight restrictions, although it had earlier warned that flights could face cancellations for up to 10 days.
