An elderly couple reportedly died by suicide in Belagola village, Srirangapatna taluk, Mandya district, Karnataka, after hanging themselves from a tree at an Eidgah ground. The incident, believed to have occurred two days ago, came to light only after the decomposed bodies emitted a foul smell.
