Election Commission has doubled the remuneration for Booth Level Officers (BLOs) ahead of upcoming Bihar Elections. Remuneration of BLO Supervisors has also been increased to ₹18000. While a BLO was earlier paid ₹6000, he/she will now get ₹12000. Apart from this, the BLO will get an incentive of ₹2000 for revision of Electoral Roll, which was earlier ₹1000.
