Electricity bill for Bengaluru houses to increase by 5% from June

The electricity bill of Bengaluru residents will increase by nearly 5% from June this year, Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (KERC) officials said. This comes after KERC announced an average of 33 paise per unit hike for Bangalore Electricity Supply Company customers. Currently, customers who use 0-30 units pay ₹3.5 per unit and those using 30-100 units pay ₹4.95 per unit.
