Electricity tariffs have been increased by 2.68% in the state, Uttarakhand Electricity Regulatory Commission (UERC) confirmed. The electricity rate has been hiked by ₹0.4 per unit for BPL and snowbound consumers, UERC informed. Accordingly, the revised domestic electricity rates are ₹2.90, ₹4.20, ₹5.80, ₹6.55 for 0-100 units, 101-200 units, 201-400 units, above 400 units categories, respectively.
