Electronics manufacturing has emerged as the top performer under India's PLI scheme, with production jumping 146% by FY25, driven largely by mobile phones and strong FDI inflows. However, overall incentive payouts remain low at just 12% of the total outlay, though disbursements have accelerated in recent years.
