A wild elephant was rescued by the forest department after it got trapped between railway barricades in Karnataka's Ramanagara on Wednesday. Unable to free itself, the animal eventually lay down after repeated attempts to escape, locals said. Forest officials later safely rescued the elephant and guided it back into the nearby protected forest.
