Eli Lilly's new experimental GLP-1 pill has successfully helped adults with obesity lose weight in a Phase 3 trial, without restricting food. The company, which makes Zepbound and Mounjaro, said it is now moving closer to submitting the drug for approval from the Food and Drug Administration.
