Former England captain David Lloyd criticised the pricing of the India-England Lord's Test, terming it as "elitist nonsense". The cheapest seats for the Test have been priced at £90 (over ₹10,000), while the seats with a better view have been priced at £175 (over ₹19,566). "Test cricket is in danger of becoming an elite showpiece," said Lloyd.
