During Tesla's first AI Day, CEO Elon Musk revealed that his company is building a 5-foot-8-inch and 125-pound humanoid robot, called Tesla Bot, whose prototype will be ready next year. "It's intended to be friendly...and eliminate dangerous, repetitive and boring tasks," Musk said. The bot, which will have a screen for a face, will use Tesla's self-driving AI software.
