Billionaire Elon Musk has responded after X user shared a post about Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation cutting its Microsoft stake by nearly 65%, worth around $8.8 billion, claiming Bill was covering his Tesla short. "If [Microsoft Co-Founder Bill Gates] hasn't fully closed...the crazy short position he's held against Tesla for ~8 years, he...better do so soon," Musk said.
