Elysian has unveiled a large battery-electric airliner, the E9X. Its conceptual design includes batteries integrated into the wings, a low-wing configuration, and folding wingtips. Set to take to the skies by 2033, the E9X features a battery pack with an energy density of 360 Wh/kg and is engineered to transport 90 passengers over distances of up to 800 kilometers.
